An Audio Birthday Card…Listen, If You Dare.

I’ve channelled my inner Marilyn to wish you a very Happy Birthday, Sir.

I am so thankful that you were born and I can’t wait for you to get home so we can celebrate. I also can’t wait for the weekend and whatever you have planned for us 🙂

I love you with all my heart, mind, body, and soul. Happy Birthday.

  1. Wow,
Girl I knew you were talented but I had no idea Marilynn lived inside you.
Love your voice and your talent.

    Happy birthday Coach!

  2. Wow! You have a very sexy voice. What a great way to wish him a Happy Birthday. I admit I listened it twice to hear not only your Marilyn voice but also hear the heart felt love you have for Coach. Thank you for sharing.

    Have a Happy Birthday Coach.

  3. Wow! I’m like everyone else, thinking this is a very nice birthday present! And wishing Coach a Happy Birthday too.
And then I’m wondering: how did you record this? Do you have a mike?
I’m asking because 2 weeks ago I tried to record something, but I was not pleased with the results so didn’t post… Of course, all I have is my laptop. And the sound quality was really poor. Too poor to my taste. So I have very practical questions of microphones, software and so on… If you have answers, maybe you could email me? 😉
    Thanks 🙂

    • First, thanks for enjoying the card. I had a lot of fun doing it.

I didn’t do anything complicated at all. I recorded it on my phone in my shower 😀 Bathrooms usually have good acoustics. I have an Android phone so I had to convert the sound clip to an mp3 (free online called Zamazar Conversions). I then uploaded the mp3 to Sound Cloud. Took about 10 minutes.

      • Well, I’ll have to try… not sure I’ll manage!
The problem is that I need some music and it’s difficult to juggle the level of voice sound over music…
One day, when I have time 🙂

        • I see what you’re saying. A cappella is much easier. I have a friend with a sound studio and I want to ask him if I can record a couple of things to use for auditions. I’ll have to use tracks as I can’t afford to pay for his band to accompany me. I won’t do much with editing with the exception of some harmony overlays that I’ll sing myself. This is where being trained in live performance pays off. I like to get it right on first take and on stage you don’t get second chances. He has top of the line equipment, but I’ll just be thankful for 1 hr. of studio time. I have a sound editing program that I can lay the tracks with so I’m pretty sure I can handle it. This all probably won’t happen until late fall/early winter because he’s in his busy season.

          • I say go for it! You need to use everything that is available to help you achieve your goal.
Late fall early winter seems so far off. But on the other hand, if you start working soon, it will give you time to find a new balance before you embark on that new stage in your life.
As for a capella… maybe I’ll try it, but I’m not sure how it would come out… I’ll let you know 😉

  4. I’m so glad you didn’t do a 4th. I LOVE that giggle in the middle. It is probably the most sensuous giggle I’ve ever heard.

Do me next!!!! That is one awesome card.

  5. Elle, that was so sweet! I have no doubts that your Mr. Dominance had a very happy birthday.. Thanks for sharing.. 🙂
